Nicola Anthony and Marc Nair will share with you about the genesis of the artworks showcased in the exhibition "Scents of Singapore".They will explain how they collaborated to incorporate the poetry of Marc in Nicola’s artworks and to talk about the history of the neighborhood.”

Both a City and a Nation, proud of its multi-ethnic representation, Singapore cannot deny its Malay roots from an historical point of view. After drawing the outline of the Malay world, the speaker will illustrate some of its cultural aspects on the basis of artworks created by contemporary artists inspired by such an heritage in Singapore.
