Bridging Myanmar's Rich Artistic Past to Today
Revealing Myanmar art history in the 20th century through the works of U Aung Khin, Master of Colours.
Based on an iconography never shown before, curated from about 300 works in all medium, this book traces the artistic and intellectual itinerary of U Aung Khin, considered one of the greatest Burmese modern artists.
It also seeks to show the link with the contemporary art scene in Myanmar today and the influence that this painter had on the younger generation.
