by Yves Hasselmann
Watch The Exhibition
Subtexts is a semi-abstract, semi-figurative series of acrylic on canvas conceived as a story without beginning and without end. Created as a response to the confinement endured during the Covid 19 pandemic, the series depicts a gigantic imaginary territory.
It is both an invitation to escape from our everyday condition to find solace in our inner self and a reflection on the new world we have to live in. Watch the video below to see these artworks in the artist's studio.
