Kelly Reedy

Kelly Reedy is a Singapore-based artist and art psychotherapist whose work draws on ritual traditions, symbolic systems, and the philosophies of care found across Asia. Having lived in the region for nearly three decades, she treats its visual and spiritual traditions not as reference points but as the living fabric of her practice — work that moves fluidly between painting, printmaking, textile, and paper, often exploring the body, protection, and vulnerability as forms of connection.
Reedy trained first as a fine artist, earning a BFA in Drawing and Painting from the University of Wisconsin– Oshkosh and continued her studies at the École du Louvre and the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. She later completed a Master’s in Art Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths, University of London and LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore — training that now shapes the conceptual and somatic underpinnings of her practice. She has exhibited across Asia, Europe, and the United States, with commissions including stained glass window designs for the Thye Hua Kwan Taoist temple in Singapore. She is a part-time lecturer at LASALLE College of the Arts and leads workshops that extend her artistic inquiry into public, participatory settings.
