Born in 1973 in Shan State, Ko Z belongs to the Kachin ethnic minority who live in the northernmost State of Myanmar Ko Z Studied at University of art and culture in Yangon He Lives and works in Yangon, Myanmar. Ko Z' art practice focuses on his Kachin identity and on environment issues. In 2009 he launched the environmental art movement in Myanmar.
